Saturday 6th - Committed!

Just the hard core in today on coronation day, and steady progress was made.

Firstly on the RBr, Steve was back working on one of the internal partitions.

While Robert spent the day on door liners for this door. First a little adjustment needed.

Door liner cutting on the bandsaw.

And fitting!

Ken was working on the South end with the angle grinder making some more adjustments.

While Phil was drilling lots and lots of holes in the lighting conduits for LED panels.

Tony and Bob had a dirty but productive day on the RBr bogies out in the barn, first cleaning off all the crud.

Soon time to get the paint brushes out.

And one bogie frame looking much better than it did at the beginning of the day.

Dave was continuing sanding down internal doors for SK 24006.

The Santa coach is edging closer to undercoating stage, Pat did some more sanding on the Cotswold side.

And Maurice was on the North end.

Pam and I put the finishing touches on the name and number plates for Capel Dewi Hall.

Should look the part once fitted.

I also sorted a sign out for Broadway over the gala where we're opening the signal box and part of P2 for visitors to have a look.

Finally Dave and I got round to fitting the first 2 of our display boards on the paintshop wall. More to come when I get some time to write and design them!
