Monday 28th - Numbers Back Up!

 Holidays over it was back to 13 volunteers today. That was very fortunate as the M5 was closed due to a serious accident and huge numbers of vehicles were diverted on to the A46, making it very late for us by the time we got to Toddington. But the large turnout meant most of the work was already done.

So this was the only photo I managed. We had rake 1 in P1 and rake 2 in P2, pulled south so that the outside team of Chris, Peter and Tim could wash the sides normally under the Stowe road bridge. It was the first time in 5 weeks we could do this and for rake 1 only the second time this year!

We went to the Model Railway Exhibition on Saturday and it was good to see the large number of visitors. Disembarking from the shuttle at Toddington it was like a commuter train arriving at its town station in the morning rush hour!

The inside team today were Greg, John M, Kath, Lynn, Nick, Nigel, Roger C, Steve and Val.
