Wednesday 24th - The roof's going on
Gerry has once again sent photos of some of Wednesday's activities. Thanks Gerry.
The weed spraying wagon is making good progress with the corrugated roof sheets now being placed in position. The side sheeting is also being advanced.
John is servicing a DA valve - part of the vacuum brake system.
The weedkilling wagon is coming along very well indeed. When in use, if it starts raining, no-one will be in any doubt that it is, as a corrigated roof will be like being inside a caravan in rain. A bit like being in the centre of the snare drum timpony section of an orchestra!!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was working for B.R., we called the 'passcom' system a 'butterfly', owing to the end that swivels when the cord is pulled.
Regards, Paul.
Weed killing solution is ineffective if applied during rain. Needs to be sprayed before it will be raining, if that is what it is going to do.
