Monday 8th - 12 for 7

 As we arrive Kath is taking stock of the situation.

As you can see there is only rake 1 and that is in platform 2. The contractor's weed killing train was in use, so rake 2 was out of site up the north siding - and won't get cleaned today. Last week there were 8 volunteers for 14 carriages, this week 12 for just 7 carriages. So I made an executive decision and took more photos than I usually get time for.

First up is Rick changing a Ghostbuster battery.

Some pictures of the buffet car. We will soon be able to compare these with the refurbished one coming into service.

Then I found Greg, John S and Lynn.

A smiling John M, the hospital declared him in good shape, no problem.

There's posh. Not noticed this before - First Class carriages tell you if the loo is engaged.

The only person to escape the camera was Nigel - last seen mopping the entire inside of the train.
