Monday 2nd - Wet Start

 As we were leaving we could see the Stanway Fountain from the car park.

But back to the start of the day. It was raining, Paul (outside team) was on his own so the decision was not a full wash but there were a few weak spots that Paul wanted to attend to, so he proceeded to do those. 

It was 2 weeks since the trains were thoroughly cleaned inside (trains were running last Monday as Bank Holiday) so they were a bit messier than usual. Nothing untoward but it provided plenty of work for those inside. So not much chance to take photos as I also had to work this time! However late on I did catch Long Tall Steve doing a contortion act to clean the radiator grills. Not many of us can do that now!

Just a couple of interiors after cleaning

As you may have seen I was at Winchcombe on Saturday. This was 3850 on it's first return with a loaded train from Cheltenham.

The rest of the team today was David, Greg, Jane, John, Kath, Lynn, Rich, Roger C and Val.
