Wednesday 19th - Progress with problems

 We were a bit short on the teams today, so progress was steady with metalwork trying to stay ahead of woodwork. Not to forget doorfit ......

Trevor was preparing to fit the first of two doors, all seemed good to start with but 1675 just keeps giving. We found the door radius is not the same as the vertical section, so next time we will be making some adjustments.

Before the fit is attempted, Ainsley is making some surface adjustments.

No blog is complete without the 'Chuckle Brothers', Colin has returned from his travels so this valuable team is now re-united.

Phil is fixing some shock absorbing strips to an overhead light fitting.

Dave is adding the final touches to the Santa coach.

Simon continues to make boot lockers for our changing room, a very much needed facility.

Rex is prepping this side panel for final welding and filling, it is a very time consuming process. The requirement being a full metal finish with only the smallest amount of filler.

Thats me keeping out of Rex's way, and starting a number of welding passes on the North / Cotswold side.
