Monday 5th - Who Needs A Gym?

 As last Monday was a Bank Holiday this was the first clean after 11 operating days, so you can imagine the 8 volunteers today were rather busy!

The rakes had been brought southwards so that coaches 'A' were on the platform so that we could wash these. For rake 1 it was the first time this year, and when I arrived Paul had been working on it for some time.

I joined him while Lawrie was working on the same set but further south. 

Inside were Greg, John, Kath, Rich and Sarah. Unfortunately with so much to do I was not able to photo any of these hard workers. 

After rake 1 Paul and myself went over to rake 2. Here is the maroon coach 'A' after our efforts.

We were 2 "regulars" missing this week as we are into the holiday season and it will be like that as various volunteers take holidays  until July.

Finish time was almost an hour later than usual due to the cleaning needed, both inside and out. But only a week between cleans this time so hopefully it will be a bit easier!
