Monday 27th - Warm Spring Sunshine for Carriage Cleaning
There were 10 for cleaning today - and just rake 2 and the DMU to do. Taking advantage at Tea Break are some of the team:-

After this it was down to the DMU. Soon done and time to return.

A good day to get our boiler back! It's taken longer than expected but that's heritage railways for you! Next is a second out of frames steam test then it will be reunited with its rolling chassis. Three years have passed since the last time it pulled trains.
ReplyDeleteI believe the crane is colloquially known as a HIAB after the Scandinavian company who invented it, akin to vacuum cleaners being Hoovers in old people speak!
