Monday 12th - Three Musketeers!

The weather (and illness) played havoc today with the Cleaning Team.

Team leader John was able to return and together with Paul and Tim they cleaned the inside of rake 1 at Toddington. No chance to wash! They got warm though, as it was hand tools only, the Gtech and Ghostbuster don't work when it is this cold. They need to go in the waiting room for a while to warm up, but as I was not there I could not warn them. Where were we? - on our way home! leaving home there was no snow but by the time we got to Broadway the Toddington road looked very uninviting. As I had a car problem and had been fortunate to get an appointment for this afternoon we decided not to risk getting delayed and turned round. It was fixed so that's good (and not very painful in the wallet, even better)

As for rake 2 at Winchcombe, that did not get touched. One of the team was ill and the other snowed in.

Next week for us the weather boffins have promised a good snowfall on Sunday and 10°C on Monday!
