Monday 6th - And Then There Was One

As we signed on the message was "due to service disruption yesterday rake 2 is in the north siding". So just the one rake to do then. With 15 volunteers it was quickly done. If anyone knows the reason for this please leave a note in the comments - we had no knowledge.

First up as usual Chris, Tim and David washing. Note the new "caravan" washing brushes in use (thanks Stu for bringing them up from Winchcombe on Friday). Peter was also there somewhere. With just the one rake they were able to do lots of "detailing" - the awkward bits that have to be done by hand.

Walking through the train I found Lynn and Nigel

Then Val and Steve

and finally John S

As I was at the north end of the train I took this picture of the platform extension works on platform 2

And apart from me spot mopping the disabled compartment in W9000 that was it. This compartment is where the train crew collect the rubbish bags at the end of the day so it almost always needs a quick mop.

The rest of the team were Greg, Jane, Kath, Nick and Roger C.
