Wednesday 4th - ' The end of hot works '

The question being, is that the end of Hot work on 1675? It seems the answer is yes maybe except for minor snags, The heavy 'stuff 'is done and so at this point we hand over to the carpenters. We have window frames to be fitted, and certain roof jobs concerning the kitchen but that is a way off.

Rex is fine tuning one of the remaining windows, its nice to see the progress.

Gerry is leaning on the drill, making way for the next rivet.

On the other side I am easing a slightly warped panel to sit flat, now ready for the window.

Chris and a piece of guttering being prepared for Alan to weld on Saturday.

Having moved out of Rod's way, he is now fixing finishing edges to the door.

Gerry is surveying a rather battered tread plate for the corridor connector, A new one will look much better.

Tony continues to work his way through a never ending pile of window frames.

Chris is prepping for the previously mentioned gutter section, you won't be able to see the join.

Finally in the barn Steve has moved up a bit, and is removing old studs etc. Once the fitting surface is correct and free from any protrusions the end skin panels will be fitted and welded into position. The south end has already been started on, more pics next week.

This week I found time to take some pics, but as always Gerry is the go to camera man ..... Many thanks Gerry.
