Monday 27th - GTech Grand Prix

 Lynn, Kath and Greg ready to race on to the next carriage. Race? Maybe not!

In order to prepare they had had a group cleaning session from the first lot.

Actually they were off to tea break, but don't let on.

The only other worker I managed to catch today was Val.

And rake 2, with the recently outshopped 5023 nearest the camera.

Dave mentioned in his last blog that I said it would be OK after we washed it today. Well, it's better but very close examination shows it's not perfect. The birds need toilet training! The north end carriages were on the platform so it was 2 months since these side were cleaned on carriages "A"

We had a nightmare trip down - 30 minutes stuck in 3 different roadworks. And expecting an easy trip as it is half term! What is it about the A435 that they have to dig it up every few weeks? Was on a Monday morning the gas man came to call........ Should be over by Saturday. New gas pipes in Studley, electric cables just outside Redditch. And more gas works at Coughton.

The rest of the team today was Chris, John M, John S, Nick, Nigel, Paul, Peter, Steve and Tim.
