Monday 18th - End Of The Hot Weather?

 Today was a much more comfortable 21°C. First job was to walk through the train to see what was happening. This time we had rake 2 in platform 1 and rake 1 in platform 2. Both with the northernmost carriage ("A") on the platform.

So first to be found were Greg and Lynn.

At which point I told Lynn John M was not coming and she very kindly volunteered to do "his" toilet duty.

Next carriage found Nigel. He usually starts in an end carriage, but fancied a change. He found plenty to tidy!

Everyone else was in rake 1 so as John S was also missing (he usually uses a Ghostbuster) I went and got that and did rake 2. After that I joined the outside team on rake 2, as one of their regulars was also missing!

Here are Tim, Chris and Paul just finishing off. It was the first time in 8 weeks that they could clean this side of rake 1.

So that was it. The rest of the team today was Kath, Rich, Roger C, Steve and Val.

Day off next Monday as it is Bank Holiday and trains are running.
