Wednesday 4th - A bit of progress

A very small number in today, however we found a few things to carry on with, We start with the upholstery team who took the opportunity to make more cushions to replace the high volume of sales during the steam gala.

They also found  time to fit the bespoke curtains in 1675. The saloon is looking really good now.

The main event of the day was a delivery of steel sheet and various sections, our new storage rack is now pretty full.

These 6 metre lengths are rather heavy .....

Simon was busy with the Cotswold side toilet compartment floor in 4798.

Phil was cleaning up some electrical fittings for the coach end connectors.

Ken was straightening a brake lever for the Open C wagon ...... that hammer and a bit of heat and it was sorted.

John is lowering 1675 onto its bogies.

Gerry and Rex were removing the old flooring in 1876, unfortunately there were no photos.
