Monday 3rd - Bucket and Spade Time
Carriage Cleaning for 11 of us, but 35006 P & O is off to the Swanage Gala for this weekends Bullied event. Tender first!
Today's team was Greg, Lynn, Nick, Nigel, Paul, Peter, Rich, Roger C, Steve, Val and self. All the usual tasks carried out - trains not bad at all after the gala.
Steve, Peter and Paul cleaning the Cotswold side of rake 2, rake 1 Malvern side already done.
The carriages do look good inside.
The garden team do an excellent job. A peony is not in flower for long but what a show when it does!
Hi, not a comment on this post, but just hitting the most recent one as I couldn't think of anywhere more relevant....... The Summer 2024 Cornishman (no 169) C&W article mentions "Carriage Fleet Strategy and Standard Rake Consist" and states that it was published on the blog. I can't find it (and I did look in "Special Articles") - would you provide the location for this item please. - David
