Monday 8th - The Morning After...

 The Gala before. 7 of us approached the sets with some trepidation, but what a tidy lot our visitors were! Compared to last week this was a doddle! Many thanks to you all, I hope you had a great time. 

Just the routine picture I'm afraid, Paul, Roger O, Mark and Phil just finishing washing the second set of the day. Inside one or other rakes were Nigel P, Greg, Kath and myself.


But as this is the Carriage & Wagon blog, here is a flashback to Saturday and the star of the freight train (and the Gala?)

    A trip in the Queen Mary was definitely a highlight of my visit, and it's good to have something other than just passenger trains. Thanks for all the work that's gone into it. Have you sorted that misbehaving door handle though?

      Nope, all part of the character of the vehicle! It just takes a bit of a knack to open it. Glad you enjoyed the ride. :-)
