Monday 6th - Hot Again!

 

Another scorcher. But as you can see the rakes were swapped round so the first arrivals attended rake 1 - which was the Chocolate and Cream set on Platform 2. That is the really hot side on a day like today.

So being slightly later we got the sheltered side and here are Kath and Mark getting near the end of the task. With only 8 in today there was plenty of work to go round - clearly the trains had been busy in the 11 days running since the last cleaning. (We get a day off when trains run on a Bank Holiday Monday). After this Kath and I took the Gtech and Ghostbuster in to rake 1 as up to that point Nigel H had been on his own inside. Mark and John also joined in. Nigel P and Greg had been inside rake 2. And Paul did his usual of a separate clean of the outside windows to get the soap marks off.

We did get a bonus though - the gardeners wanted the hoses so we could leave them out and not have to wind them up.
