Monday 12th - A Slow Start

 Arrived this morning to find John helping Paul with the carriage washing - holiday season and numbers were down, although they crept up to 8 later.

I took a Ghostbuster into rake 2 where I found Nigel hard at work. Greg was in rake 1. Kath started in coach A of rake 1 and had a few words to say later! There had been a Fish & Chip train on Saturday, and in this coach she found chips, an apple core and a crushed drinks carton on the floor and a paper plate stuffed down between cushions! Fortunately the rest of both rakes were just normal. 

When I emerged from rake 2 I found Mark and Phil had arrived and were getting ready to help the carriage washers.

Next Monday of course is the late Queen's funeral, so no cleaning that day.
